About Us

We're not fitness pros or hardbodies. We're just regular Janes who enjoy working out. Well, sometimes "enjoys" is overstating the case, but we do it anyway. Suit up and show up, that's our mantra.

Sophia: I started working out at Richard Simmons' Anatomy Asylum here in Dallas, Texas in the mid-1980s, and have been doing video workouts since Jane Fonda first put on leg warmers.

I love working out with DVDs. They provide variety and keep me interested, they can be fit into a busy day--especially with the new crop of 10-minute workouts that can be done one or several at a time--and they are inexpensive.

Kritter: I’ve been exercising on and off for a few years now, but I’m at an age where it’s time to pick up the pace and work a little harder and a lot more consistently. I’m not thrilled by this, but I’m committed to doing what the doctor says (and the mirror). Sophie promises that someday I won’t be able to imagine life without exercise. We’ll see about that.
